Christmas Lights Field Trip

Ron Mullins will be leading a field trip to photograph the Rotary Christmas Lights  display  in downtown Kelowna. Meet at the Sails at 6:30 PM. See the Christmas Lights Field Trip document for further details. Don’t forget to email Ron if you plan  to attend.

    • December 31st all members should have received an email with a link to an image gallery containing all the submissions and a link to a survey asking them to vote for their favorite 3 images.
    • Deadline for voting is midnight January 4, 2021.
    • Jan 12th the 3 winners will be announced.

    As part of the BC-Yukon Interclub speaker series, Jeffrey Wu will present "HOW TO TELL A NATURE STORY An Introduc6on to Wildlife Photography". 

    This presentation is going to showcase:

    • How to freeze the most dramatic, story-telling moment of nature in the wild
    • Black and white wildlife photography
    • Aerial Photography
    • Photographing wildlife in Africa

    David Guscott will give a presentation on "Looking at Monochrome".

    David Guscottis a landscape and wildlife photographer who has lived in Vernon for 3 yearssince moving from North Vancouver. An amateur photographer with a stronglife-long interest in nature and the out of doors.

    He has wonCAPA awards, was on Canada's winning team for the Four Nations Competition andpart of the Vernon Photography Club's winning entry for the North ShoreChallenge in 2018.

    Currently heleads the Education Program for the Vernon Photography Club.

    The session will be broadcast on Zoom so that members can connect via the Internet and watch. Zoom credentials will be distributed by email and will be posted on the COPS Members Facebook page.
