The Whitehorse Photo Club would like to invite everyone to our next presentation which will take place on November 18, 2020 at 7:00pm local time (6:00pmPST). We will have 50-60 spots open to members of other clubs.
The presentation will feature Peter Eastway. Peter will be joining us all the way from Australia via Zoom. Peter will be covering post production, and also take some photos from his book, The New Tradition, and explain how he got to it.

We will also have a short slide show of the People’s Choice Awards.
The session will be broadcast on Zoom so that members can connect via the Internet and watch. Zoom credentials will be distributed by email and will be posted on the COPS Members Facebook page.
There will be no member meeting as this night is reserved for an executive meeting, 7 – 9 PM.

Welcome back to a new and exiting year (2019-2020) at COPS, our first meeting is on September 10, 2019. We’ve listened to your suggestions and thanks to Tom Irish and Ray Putnam we have focused and interesting program ahead. Planned are: Speakers, Learning, Photo Review, Sharing, Teaching, Outings. As well, thanks to Tom, we are starting a mentorship program this year to help and encourage our newer members. All our efforts are focused on our mandate to Share Learn and Grow. For the first meeting of 2019, Linda Miller, Zone Director for the CAPA Pacific Zone will give us some insight into shooting and processing creative images.
Don’t forget – this is image submission night. Bring your print submissions to the meeting and submit the digital copies of your prints and your digital images by midnight.

Go Out and Shoot light trails of cars at the overpass at Parkinson Recreation Centre.
Dress warm. For those not familiar with this type of shooting, information regarding camera settings will be provided and we can buddy up. Equipment needed will be tripod, camera, remote shutter (if you have one) and if it is raining bring an umbrella. Also, prints for submissions for the November 13 Evaluation Night can be given to Barb Charlton at the same place, Parkinson Rec Center overpass. Digital submissions must be made online before midnight.
